Camille Pescatore

Camille Pescatore started her PhD at the Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory in April 2024. Her research is focused on including the brain in neurorehabilitation therapy after stroke, combining wearable, optical neuroimaging with non invasive brain stimulation.

Originally from Luxembourg, Camille received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Life Sciences Engineering with a minor in Neuroprosthetics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2020 and 2023 respectively. She completed her Master Thesis at Harvard Medical School as EPFL WISH fellow, focusing on speech decoding from intracortical recordings. In the long term, Camille hopes to contribute to a more brain-centric rehabilitation approach with her research.
