Alexandra Retevoi

Alexandra Retevoi started her Ph.D. at RELab in May 2023. With a background in Computer Science (B.Sc.) and Biomedical Computing (M.Sc.), her research focus is on mobile software applications for unsupervised therapy and remote health interventions in the context of stroke rehabilitation.

During her M.Sc. studies at Technische Universität München (TUM), Alexandra worked on designing a prototype application for healthcare workers to access information on medical devices and report device malfunctions using 2D code scanning. This application prototype was selected among the top 20 best startup ideas at the Digital Health Summit 2021 in Munich.

Originally from Ramnicu-Valcea, Romania, Alexandra continues her passion for digital healthcare at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology, working in collaboration with the MobileCoach Open Source Digital Intervention Platform. Her long-term research goal is to contribute to the next generation of mobile applications for patient care.
