The summer school external pageTranslational Robotics for Clinical Rehabilitation (TRCR) recently took place at the Clinica Hildebrand Centro di Riabilitazione di Brissago, from August 28th to September 1st. The school was jointly organized by a group of PhD students from the RELab and the SMS Laboratory at ETH, and from the LSRO Laboratory at EPFL, in collaboration with the rehabilitation institute in Brissago.

The summer school aimed to promote interaction and collaboration between engineers, physicians and therapists, for the development of novel technologies that could improve the quality of life of patients and people working in the neurorehabilitation field. International experts in neurorehabilitation from different backgrounds took part at the summer school to discuss recent results in the technology-assisted rehabilitation field and to share future objectives.

The school received great appreciation from all the participants and it is currently under discussion whether the school will become a fixed event every two years.
