Rehabilitation Engineering is the application of science and technology to ameliorate the handicaps of individuals with disabilities in order to reintegrate them into society.The goal is to present classical and new rehabilitation engineering principles applied to compensate or enhance motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. The focus of this course lies on the restoration and treatment of the human sensory and vegetative system.
